New Apartment Fitout — Military Road, Willoughby

A new apartment joinery fitout on Military Road, Willoughby — the whole job in polyurethane, Dulux Creamy White matt, with AC Stone Viola Rosse (AC1012) benchtops. Kitchen with a matching stone splashback and a 45° sharknose fingerpull throughout, a cabinet built to house the water unit, and handleless push-to-open hallway pantries with Titus inner slimline drawers beside a stone study desk.
This was a new fitout in an apartment on Military Road, Willoughby. The unit came to us as a bare shell — concrete walls, no kitchen, and the building's water system tanks sitting in the open right next to where the kitchen had to go. Everything here was built into that. The whole job is polyurethane in Dulux Creamy White, matt. There is no hardware on show anywhere, but the two ends of the apartment get there differently: the kitchen runs a 45° sharknose fingerpull machined into the doors and drawer faces, carried across the integrated dishwasher panel as well so the line runs unbroken along the front. The hallway pantries are handleless push-to-open — no pull and no fingerpull at all, just flat fronts in a walkway where anything protruding would catch. The kitchen benchtop is AC Stone Viola Rosse (AC1012), with a matching splashback in the same stone carried up the wall, so the veining runs through as one piece rather than stopping at the bench. The water unit needed to stay accessible but out of sight, so we built a cabinet around it that lines up with the rest of the run and reads as ordinary joinery from the hallway. Inside the hallway pantries are Titus inner slimline drawers, which keep the storage usable without eating into the walkway. Next to those, a benchtop in the same Viola Rosse is set into the joinery to act as a study desk, so the two ends of the apartment tie together.

How each room or storage zone was resolved.
Kitchen & Stone
A new kitchen built into a bare shell — polyurethane in Dulux Creamy White matt, with a 45° sharknose fingerpull to the doors and drawer faces and across the integrated dishwasher panel. AC Stone Viola Rosse (AC1012) benchtop with a matching splashback in the same stone carried up the wall so the veining runs through as one piece.

Hallway Storage Pantries
Storage pantries built along the hallway, handleless push-to-open with nothing protruding into the walkway, and fitted with Titus inner slimline drawers so the storage works hard inside.

Stone Study Desk
A stone benchtop set into the joinery beside the hallway pantries to act as a study desk, in the same AC Stone Viola Rosse as the kitchen and the same Dulux Creamy White polyurethane as the rest of the job.

Water Unit Housing
A cabinet built around the building's water unit so it stays accessible for servicing but disappears into the joinery run the rest of the time, finished to match everything else.

How the finished project improved storage, flow and finish quality.
A bare shell with exposed water tanks became a finished apartment — kitchen, hallway storage and a study desk all in the same Dulux Creamy White polyurethane and the same stone, with no visible hardware anywhere and the water unit boxed in and out of sight.
