A complete new-build joinery fitout in Waverley — a Polytec Manor Oak Woodmatt walk-in robe with vertical grooved LED lighting, six bedroom and walkway wardrobes in Dulux Vivid White polyurethane, two Polytec Angora Oak kids studies, and four stone-topped vanities. Every door in the house is handleless.
This was a new build in Waverley where we were brought in to do the joinery for the whole house, so every room could be detailed to the same rules rather than assembled piece by piece. The brief that shaped everything was handleless: no knobs, no bar pulls, nothing to catch on. Every door in the job runs an integrated J-pull, and every drawer face is machined with a 45° sharknose fingerpull, so the pull is part of the face instead of something screwed onto it. The walk-in robe is the centrepiece and the one room with its own material — Polytec Manor Oak Woodmatt throughout, with vertical grooved LED lighting, push-to-open overhead cabinets, drawer banks, and open shelving set up for shoe storage and bag display. Through the rest of the house the wardrobes and walkway storage are polyurethane in Dulux Vivid White, mixing flat board and V-groove lining doors so the rooms read as a set without being identical. The two kids studies go the other way again in Polytec Angora Oak — V-groove wall lining, floating shelves with an LED groove, a bench seat with drawers under it, and a bed built in the same Polytec colour so the room hangs together. The four vanities are all white polyurethane on stone tops with waterfall ends. Because it was a new build there is no old room to compare against — the earlier photos here are the carcass and install stages, which is a fair picture of how much of this work is set out and squared up long before anything is visible.

Every room in the house was fitted out to the same set of rules — handleless throughout, one timber for the walk-in robe, one white for the wardrobes, one oak for the kids rooms — so the joinery reads as part of the build rather than something added to it afterwards.
